Eleven Years Ago + One Big Year Ahead
Today marks the 11 year anniversary of my brother’s fall from a tree which resulted in a severe brain injury. Yesterday I gave my notice at a job I’ve had for over six years in anticipation of converting to 24/7/365 van life starting in March. Coincidence? Probably not.
Robos Go Sailing
Yup, the Robo’s went sailing. True story. We didn’t run (ok fine, we did for like 30 miserable minutes) or ride, we sailed. Both of us sailed. Not just the one of us who is known to have a history of sailing, both of us. And by both, I mean JON!
Basic Needs
Admittedly this post could have been combined with “Items We Can’t Live Without” but I felt like breaking it up would make more sense in my brain. However, for the sake of future adventure Van Lifers, I’ll add a link to that post here and another to “Routine” so that the magic of Google and hyperlinks can keep all this stuff organized in one semi-thread. That’s how it works, right?! I’m so techy.
What Goes Around Comes Around
I would not characterize myself as religious…at all. However, I often refer to the “Great Outdoors” as my church and have been known to classify my religious views as “What Goes Around Comes Around”.
Penny Love
Roses are red
Violets are blue
We want to introduce our Penny Love to you!
In August she will be three
And she brings so much joy to Jon and to me
Happy Space
Ok, so what are two people in their mid-thirties, late thirties? Aw screw it, we are 37! Anyway, what are we doing traveling around the country in our Sprinter Van? Shouldn’t we be up to our eyeballs in play dates and mom’s groups*? What went wrong or…what went right?!
